Banana Oatmeal Cookies

These delicious protein packed banana cookies are a great "grab and go" snack for pre/post workout or a mid day pick me up.


1.5 cups wheat flour

1/2tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp nutmeg

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/4 cup maple syrup


1cup of mashed bananas

2 cups old fashioned oats


  1. Sift the flour, baking soda, and spices together

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce and maple syrup.

  3. Add the egg and beat.

  4. Add in the flour mixture and blend.

  5. Add the Vital Proteins, mashed banana, and oats and mix by hand (you could add walnuts if you would like)

  6. Drop by teaspoons (I use a cookie scoop) on parchment paper lined pan.

  7. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes.

The Cookies will look slightly dry and light brown on the top and browned around the edges when done.

These cookies freeze well (unless they are undercooked, then they stick together) in a zip lock bag or plastic container!
