These delicious protein packed banana cookies are a great "grab and go" snack for pre/post workout or a mid day pick me up.
1.5 cups wheat flour
1/2tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 scoops Vital Proteins Banana, cinnamon, and Vanilla
1cup of mashed bananas
2 cups old fashioned oats
Sift the flour, baking soda, and spices together
In a separate bowl, mix the applesauce and maple syrup.
Add the egg and beat.
Add in the flour mixture and blend.
Add the Vital Proteins, mashed banana, and oats and mix by hand (you could add walnuts if you would like)
Drop by teaspoons (I use a cookie scoop) on parchment paper lined pan.
Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes.
The Cookies will look slightly dry and light brown on the top and browned around the edges when done.

This delicious chili brings a whole new game to the table with the tangy BBQ flavor. This recipe is easy to make in the crockpot, on the stove, or it can be frozen for a future meal. This recipe can also be altered to be vegan friendly.
1 white or yellow onion diced
1 green pepper diced
1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
2 cans of black beans (drained and rinsed)
2 cans of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
1 lb ground turkey browned
2tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp cumin
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1 cup of corn
3/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (our favorite is G Hughes Maple Brown Sugar free BBQ sauce )
Place the first 9 ingredients in the crockpot. Place on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
About an hour before serving, smash the beans and add in the corn and BBQ sauce.
Serve with warm cornbread and a fresh green salad!
